Meet the Speaker: Dr.Kevin Fernando

Dr Kevin Fernando is a portfolio GP based near Edinburgh, working across NHS and private sectors. He is a Fellow of the RCGP, RCPE, and the Academy of Medical Educators, and holds an MSc in Diabetes (Distinction). He serves as Content Advisor for WebMD Medscape (UK & Global), is an Honorary Clinical Reader at the University of Dundee, and co-founded CVRMUK to support person-centred CVRM care and education. Kevin is a nationally and internationally recognised speaker and medical writer, with a focus on type 2 diabetes, CVRM, and the interpretation of abnormal blood tests in primary care. He regularly contributes to peer-reviewed journals, clinical summaries, and congress highlights tailored for primary care professionals.
