Meet the Speaker

Mr. Ajay Swaminathan

FRCOG MD
Ajay is a consultant gynaecologist and laparoscopic surgeon. Ajay joined the Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS FT in 2012 after completing his training in the Mersey rotation. He is the endometriosis lead for the trust and also works at the Hewitt Fertility Centre at Knutsford – Liverpool Women’s Hospital.  Ajay maintains private practicing privileges at the Spire Regency Macclesfield, Circle Clinic Northwich and the BMI Beaumont. Ajay completed his laparoscopic training at the Kiel School of Gynaecological Endoscopy in Germany.  He is actively involved in medical education and training having served as a moderator for the Royal College on the Enhanced Revision Programme. He was the departmental lead for undergraduate medical education. He extends his educational outreach by lectures on gynaecological conditions to primary care physicians and allied health care professionals
