Women’s Health: Menopause Assessment, Prescribing and Management
Make sense of the complexity. Build confidence in your menopause consultations.
Menopause consultations bring together symptoms, treatment preferences and a patient’s wider health. Join Dr Sidra Hassan for a full day exploring how to connect those elements in assessment, prescribing and ongoing management.
Designed for GPs, pharmacists, nurses and other UK registered healthcare professionals involved in menopause care.
Why this course is different
A connected approach to the decisions that shape menopause care, from the first conversation to the more complex consultation.
A full day dedicated to menopause
Follow the clinical journey from recognising the perimenopause to choosing treatment and managing ongoing concerns, with one speaker connecting the learning across the day.
Prescribing decisions you face in practice
Explore HRT foundations, progestogen selection and bleeding on HRT, alongside testosterone and libido. The focus is on understanding the decisions behind an individual management plan.
Space for clinical complexity
Work through the considerations raised by migraine, epilepsy, ADHD, cardiovascular disease and a history of breast or gynaecological cancer, then bring the learning together in complex case discussion.
The whole person and their long-term health
Connect symptoms with lifestyle evidence, obesity, metabolic and endocrine health, PMOS, premature ovarian insufficiency and postmenopausal bone health.
