THIS EVENT IS OPEN TO UK TRAINED GPs ONLY

Location: MS Teams

For UK trained GPs

GP Opportunities in Canada

Licensing routes. Real roles. Family life in Ottawa.

Moving to Canada is a big decision, and most GPs we speak to have the same first questions: is my training recognised, how long will it take, and what would daily life actually look like? This webinar is a chance to put those questions directly to the people who support UK doctors through the move every day.

Join Nadia Butt, CEO and Founder of MedBridge Canada, for a free, informal evening session on MS Teams with plenty of time for your questions.

Who should attend

UK trained GPs with MRCGP or CCT who are curious about working in Canada, whether you are actively planning a move or simply want to understand your options.

Why join the webinar?

01 / LIVED EXPERIENCE

Hear it from someone who has done it

Nadia Butt founded MedBridge Canada after completing her own journey as an international medical graduate. She understands the process from both sides, as a doctor and as a recruiter, and will speak openly about what to expect.

02 / CURRENT ROLES

Talk about real roles, not just the process

MedBridge Canada is currently recruiting with GM Healthcare Center in Ottawa. You will hear about the clinic, the type of work on offer and what other opportunities exist across Ontario.

03 / LICENSING

Understand your own route

Licensing requirements vary depending on your training and qualifications. The session will walk through credential verification, MCC requirements and registration with the CPSO, so you can see which steps are likely to apply to you.

04 / RELOCATION

Get a clear picture of family life in Ottawa

Housing, schools, commuting and community all matter as much as the job itself. You can ask about the practical side of relocating with a partner or children.

What to expect on the evening

No pressure, no commitment

This is an informal, online conversation. You can listen, ask questions and decide afterwards whether you would like to take things further.

Free to attend

There is no cost to join. The session runs on MS Teams, so you can take part from home after clinic.

Live Q&A

Bring your questions about licensing, roles and relocation and have them answered by Nadia and the CliniLink team.

Optional introduction

If you would like an introduction to MedBridge Canada afterwards, just let us know. Your details are only shared with them if you choose this.
