Why Should Healthcare Professionals Attend This Webinar?
As the population ages, clinicians are caring for more patients living with frailty and multiple long-term conditions. Problematic polypharmacy increases the risk of adverse drug events, hospital admissions, and reduced quality of life, while adding to NHS costs.
This session, led by Professor Martin Vernon, explores how to identify frailty early, assess medication appropriateness, and implement safe deprescribing strategies. Attendees will learn evidence-based approaches to optimise medication use, reduce treatment burden, and improve independence and wellbeing in older adults.
