Meet the Speaker

Amira Shaikh is a Lecturer in Prescribing for Healthcare Practice at the Faculty of Nursing, Midwifery & Palliative Care, King’s College London. A registered pharmacist since 2011, she brings a wealth of experience from roles across community pharmacy, Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs), NHS 111 urgent care, and national-level pharmacy positions. Her academic interests focus on prescribing education and improving medicines optimisation, particularly in patients with complex health needs.
