Dr Farah Ahmed is a GP with over 15 years of NHS experience and has a special interest in women’s health and menopause. She exclusively works within the Women’s Health &
Menopause space both within the NHS and private sector.She is a diplomate of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare. She also holds a Certificate in the Management of Menopause from the British Menopause Society and is a member of the National Association for Premenstrual Syndrome.Dr Ahmed is passionate about making medical information accessible and empowering women to take control of their health. Her writing has featured in Newsweek, Hello!,Mumsnet, Refinery29, Women’s Health and Vogue. She has also recently worked with Rock My Menopause (a patient resource approved by NICE) to create culturally competent health information for South Asian communities.She is also a clinical educator having delivered menopause webinars to >200 Primary Care colleagues and is a regular speaker on women’s health topics, having presented at events for Stylist magazine, appearing as a panellist at Pause Live, a leading menopause and midlife event as well as delivering a lecture at the Royal College of Nursing Autumn conference. Dr Ahmed is committed to delivering proactive, preventative and personalised care to women at every stage of life.
