Alison Clark is a highly experienced Registered Dietitian whose career began in the NHS after graduating with a BSc (Hons) in Nutrition & Dietetics from the University of Surrey in 2000. She continues to work with the NHS on a consultancy basis, supporting patients with diabetes, gastrointestinal and cardiovascular conditions.In 2005, Alison founded her own successful nutrition consultancy, ACHN, delivering evidence-based nutrition services across the UK. She has spoken at national and international conferences on probiotics and gut health, and led teams of dietitians on projects for brands including Danone and Yakult, as well as public health initiatives such as X-PERT Diabetes and workplace wellbeing programmes.Alison has also delivered corporate health interventions for organisations including Marks & Spencer, Barclays Capital, Mitsubishi, BT and Diabetes UK.Her research background includes work with The Centre for Obesity Research, focusing on clinical trials for weight-loss therapies and oral nutrition supplements. Alison is also a spokesperson for the British Dietetic Association and has featured in media interviews including BBC News.She is currently Lead Dietitian for the Symprove TTT programme, overseeing healthcare professional training and financial governance. Passionate about nutrition and wellbeing, Alison is recognised for her professional, practical and engaging approach.
