Meet the Speakers

Dr Thomas Baldwin

GP with Special Interest (GPwSI) in Allergy and Clinical Immunology
Dr.Baldwin splits his time between general practice where he is based in Redditch, North Worcestershire and secondary care where he has his own adult allergy clinic at City Hospital Birmingham.He is heavily involved with the British society for allergy and immunology where he is the primary care representative for the standards of care committee.He is passionate about empowering primary care clinicians to give good allergy care and has spoken at local and national events.

 

Dr Ahmed Helmy

MBBCh, MSc, CCST, SCOPE, FRCPI (Ireland), FRCP UK (Glasgow)
Dr Ahmed Helmy is a Consultant Physician in Diabetes, Endocrinology and Weight Management at Birmingham Heartlands Hospital. He holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Education and serves as Educational Lead for the Heartlands Diabetes and Endocrinology service, as well as Honorary Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Birmingham.
