Meet the Speakers

Dr. Helen Wall MBBS

MBBS, BMS Menopause Specialist, GP Senior Partner, Clinical Director of Population Health (GM) , Visiting Professor
Dr Helen Wall is an experienced GP, media contributor, keynote speaker, and passionate advocate for women’s and public health. Based in Bolton, she is Senior GP Partner and Trainer at The Oaks Family Practice and Clinical Director of Population Health for Greater Manchester ICB, leading regional immunisation and screening programmes.A familiar face on UK television, Helen is Resident GP on BBC Breakfast, a regular contributor to Woman Magazine, and a trusted voice on health, menopause, and wellbeing. A registered BMS menopause specialist, she also runs an NHS menopause clinic and champions women’s health and neurodiversity awareness.Recognised with multiple honours, including Woman of the Year (She Inspires Awards 2022), an Honorary Doctorate in Public Health, and a Visiting Professorship at the University of Manchester. Dr Almas Agha

GPwER Diabetes and CVRM
Dr. Almas Agha, GPwER CVRM, FRCGP, is a GP with over 20 years of NHS experience and a special interest in Cardiovascular, Renal, and Metabolic health. She is a Fellow of the RCGP and an Honorary Primary Care Consultant at the Royal Liverpool Hospital. She holds diplomas in Diabetes and Sexual Health, runs Tier 2 Diabetes Clinics, and has held leadership roles including CCG Lead for Central Manchester. An active educator,she trains GP trainees and leads a local educational group. She has also worked with Diabetes UK and received the Muslim Professional National Award for services to healthcare
