Study Day Summary
This CPD-accredited face-to-face study day provides a practical, evidence-based update on the management of allergic conditions and key areas of women’s health in primary care. Aligned with current UK guidance including NICE, BSACI, and national menopause and cardiovascular recommendations, the programme focuses on improving diagnostic accuracy, optimising prescribing, and delivering holistic, person-centred care across the life course through expert-led sessions, workshops and case-based discussions.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of this study day, attendees will be able to:
- Apply a structured diagnostic approach to common allergic conditions in primary care
- Implement stepped, guideline-aligned management for allergic rhinitis, asthma overlap, and complex presentations
- Initiate and optimise evidence-based menopause management, including HRT and non-hormonal options
- Integrate cardiovascular risk assessment into women’s health consultations
- Apply shared decision-making frameworks to support person-centred prescribing
- Recognise and address health inequalities in the management of multimorbid patients
