Meet the Speakers
Miss Affreen (Affy) Mohammed
Affreen (Affy) Mohammed is a Primary Care IP Clinical Pharmacist in Devon with specialist expertise in cardiovascular disease prevention, lipid optimisation, and medicines optimisation. She leads and delivers pharmacy‑led cardiovascular services, with a strong interest in digital workflow redesign, quality improvement, and population health outcomes.
Dr Hussam Rostom
Dr Hussam Rostom is the Consultant Chemical Pathologist and Lipid Service lead at the Great Western Hospital in Swindon.
After completing his pre-clinical studies at the University of Cambridge and his clinical studies at the University of Oxford, Dr Rostom undertook his specialty at Oxford University Hospitals and has undertaken a PhD in the endocrinology of human lactation at the University of Oxford. He has a keen interest in medical education and is Doll Teaching Fellow at Green Templeton College, University of Oxford, and Undergraduate Unit Coordinator for Pathology at the Great Western Hospital.
